Keith Lee Says "Only Time Will Tell" What's Next For Him

The former NXT champ hasn't been seen in months

What's next for Keith Lee? It seems as though the WWE Raw-brand star isn't sure, either.

Lee responded early Sunday morning to a fan who asked what was next for him, writing, "Good question. Unfortunately, only time will tell my friend."

More than three months have passed since we last saw Keith Lee in action. His most recent match occurred on February 8, when he defeated Riddle on an episode of Monday Night Raw.

Lee and Riddle were both booked for a triple threat match at the February 21 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, challenging United States champion Bobby Lashley. However, Lee was a late scratch from the title bout, and replaced by John Morrison.

Reports emerged in late-2020 that claimed Lee (along with several other larger wrestlers) were going back to the Performance Center for further training, in order to add "big man" spots and sensibilities to their performances.

A popular indy star for several years, Lee signed with WWE in 2018, and began wrestling on the NXT brand that year. With the company, Lee has held the NXT championship and North American championship, at one point simultaneously. He debuted on the main roster last August.
