Latest On Jeff Hardy Possibly Joining AEW

Is he AEW bound?

With speculation suggesting Jeff Hardy is AEW bound, possibly even as soon as Wednesday's episode of Dynamite as Isiah Kassidy's mystery opponent, Matt Hardy has provided an update on his brother.

Speaking on his podcast, Matt noted Jeff's WWE non-compete clause doesn't expire until March, ruling him out of a Dynamite appearance on February 9. The former Broken One didn't rule out Jeff eventually joining AEW, though.

"Jeff's no-compete clause runs into March 9. As of March 10, he will be free to do whatever and then he could negotiate with somebody or work for another big company that has television, whatever it may be," Matt began.

"Do I think that Jeff Hardy could end up coming to AEW and teaming up with Matt Hardy again? As they say in the wrestling business, never say never. Anything's possible. We're definitely going to be working together and we'll see if the planets align and we do get the opportunity to become the greatest team in all of space and time once more."

Both The Young Bucks and Matt recently teased Jeff will join AEW at some point, with Nick and Matt Jackson changing their Twitter bio to "Bring us Jeff Harvey," referencing when Mike Adamle got the former World Heavyweight Champion's name wrong on WWE TV.
