Lee Moriarty Announced For PWG Battle Of Los Angeles 2022

Another AEW star in the tournament

Lee Moriarty has been announced as the ninth and latest entrant in the 2022 Battle Of Los Angeles tournament.

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla made the announcement on Thursday, tweeting: "Lee Moriarty is the ninth entrant in the 2022 Battle of Los Angeles!"

The King of Taiga Style joins JONAH, Alex Shelley, Kevin Blackwood, Lio Rush, Black Taurus, Daniel Garcia, Jack Cartwheel and Bandido in the tournament.

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BOLA will return on January 29 and January 30, 2022. The tournament has traditionally taken place over three nights but it will only be two nights next year. BOLA will take place at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Lee Moriarty has been a regular in PWG since the promotion's return in August of this year and the AEW star has faced Jonathan Gresham and Kevin Blackwood in singles action inside the Globe Theatre. He also teamed with Trey Miguel and Myron Reed against Jack Cartwheel, Alex Zayne and Dante Martin at Threemendous VI in September.
