Marty Scurll Appears At NWA Into The Fire

“The Villain” arrives in Atlanta...

NWA’s Into the Fire pay-per-view concluded on Saturday with the appearance of an individual whose future in wrestling has been the source of much speculation.

Marty Scurll turned up at the conclusion of the event in Atlanta, confronting NWA World Heavyweight champion Nick Aldis.

Aldis had just retained the belt over James Storm in the main event, when the lights went out. Scurll then made his entrance, where a stunned Aldis confronted him inside the ring, only to back off and leave as the show ended.

Scurll just wrestled at last night’s ROH Final Battle in Baltimore, teaming with Flip Gordon in defeat to Flamita and Bandido.

Scurll’s ROH contract reportedly expired at the end of November, but agreed to work Final Battle.

The future of “The Villain” has been much talked about. All Elite Wrestling was considered the safest bet, due to the presence of his old friends from The Elite.

AEW World champion Chris Jericho even made not-so-subtle reference to Scurll during his reading of names he refused to wrestle on last week’s Dynamite.
