MJF Addresses Possible Match With Goldberg

MJF comments on potentially facing Goldberg

MJF has commented on a potential match with Goldberg.

In a tweet that was quickly deleted, Friedman wrote: "I'd beat the living s**t out of this roided up Jew." The tweet was in reference to a post on the social media platform about Goldberg potentially facing the AEW World Champion in All Elite Wrestling.

Goldberg became a free agent at the end of 2022 when his WWE contract expired and the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion has since revealed he is leaning towards self-promoting a four-city farewell tour as he believes his character deserves a proper send-off. Goldberg stated he had a handshake deal with Vince McMahon to have a retirement match in WWE after Elimination Chamber 2022 but the match was never booked.

Speculation has suggested Goldberg could wrestle at AEW's All In show from Wembley Stadium on August 27, with MJF having been mentioned as a possible opponent for Da' Man. Tony Khan has signalled he is keeping an eye on Goldberg's free agent status for AEW, but he ruled out booking the 56-year-old for Ring of Honor.
