MJF Cast In 'Happy Gilmore 2'

MJF will be playing Happy Gilmore's son

Following his victory against Daniel Garcia at AEW All Out 2024, in which he was attacked after the match, MJF embarked on an absence from AEW, which was reportedly due to him taking some time away to film a movie. MJF’s Hollywood career looks to be on the precipice of becoming something much more extravagant and notable thanks to his latest casting, which may be his biggest role yet.

It has been announced that MJF has been cast in Happy Gilmore 2, a sequel to the comedy classic from 1996 starring Adam Sandler. Deadline.com came out with the news of MJF having a role in the movie, though noted that his character was “under wraps”. However, PWInsider have revealed that MJF will be playing a character named Gordie, one of Happy Gilmore’s sons.

His character, along with the other sons have been described as “tough crazy bastards with New England accents who have inherited their father’s love of hockey. They all live out their own and work blue collar jobs.” Further details include that the sons will be seen at different ages throughout the movie.
