PAC Secures Future AEW International Title Shot, Seeks Wembley Moment

The Bastard PAC will not be denied his Wembley moment

AEW star PAC earned a future shot at the AEW International Championship on last night's episode of Dynamite.

The 'Bastard' beat Tomohiro Ishii, Kyle Fletcher and Claudio Castagnoli in a 'Global Glory' four way by making Fletcher tap out to the Brutalizer. He will now wrestle either current champion Will Ospreay or MJF, depending on the outcome of their match on next week's edition of Dynamite (which will be the 250th episode of the show).

After his victory, PAC noted that he had made many bold promises since his return in March and "suffered many humiliating failures". However, he said that as AEW approaches All In that "The Bastard won't be denied my Wembley moment. I promise you that tonight is a line in the sand. The Bastard will be back"

It was not specified whether PAC would receive his title shot at All In, which is scheduled to take place on August 25.

The Newcastle native was forced to miss last year's historic event due to what Tony Khan dubbed 'internal injuries'. In vignettes hyping his impending return earlier this year, PAC claimed that he had almost 'popped his clogs', suggesting that whatever kept him on the shelf had been life-threatening in nature.

The 37-year-old won the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Championship in June 2022, holding it for 108 days before dropping it to Orange Cassidy. The All-Atlantic Championship was renamed the International Title in March 2023.
