Paul Wight Given ROH Authority Figure Role

ROH has a new authority figure - Paul Wight

No more BS for Ring of Honor, as there is a new sheriff in town - Paul Wight.

The multi-time world champion made his TV return on the July 25 edition of ROH TV on HonorClub, with it revealed that Wight has joined ROH’s Board of Directors, with Wight given the jurisdiction to sanction matches within the promotion.

Wight flexed his authoritative power straight away, announcing a new match for Death Before Dishonor on July 26 with the ROH World Tag Team Championships set to be contested on the show. The Undisputed Kingdom’s Matt Taven and Mike Bennett will be putting the belts up against the team of Kyle O’Reilly and Tomohiro Ishii after simmering animosity between the two sides.
