Stokey Hathaway & Jerry Lynn Appointed ROH Board Of Directors

ROH Board of Directors announced, Stokely Hathaway and Jerry Lynn on board

Ring of Honor have announced a new ‘Board of Directors’ who will oversee all matchmaking and authoritative duties on ROH TV.

The board will consist of Stokely Hathaway and former ROH World Champion Jerry Lynn, with the pair formally announced by ROH President Tony Khan on the June 8 edition of ROH TV. Khan revealed the board but declared that he will still have final say on ROH matters should any disagreements arise between Hathaway and Lynn.

Whilst Hathaway has mainly been used in a managerial capacity since returning to ROH/joining AEW, Lynn has been used as an on-screen figure of authority, with Lynn being used on several occasions as a judge for Pure Rules matches.

The board is purely a kayfabe creation, with a recent report stating that Khan is still in control of all booking and administrative matters with regards to Ring of Honor. Khan will also still be running ROH TV from the back.

Previous ROH on-screen matchmakers include Nigel McGuinness, and Jim Cornette, with the latter combining his on-screen role with his real life role as head booker of the promotion.
