Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai Reunite On WWE NXT

Reunited and it feels so good. 

Less than a year after Dakota Kai turned on Raquel Gonzalez, the former friends rekindled their partnership on Tuesday's edition of NXT.

Their reunion came about following a promo from Toxic Attraction in which the faction announced they had beaten everyone in NXT, leaving them with no teams to face. This prompted Dakota Kai to try and take on Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne by herself and Toxic Attraction overpowered The Captain Of Team Kick before Raquel Gonzalez ran to the ring to make the save.

Once Gonzalez had cleared the ring, she bumped into Dakota Kai and after both women looked at each other for a few seconds, Kai leapt into the former NXT Women's Champion's awaiting arms. 

Gonzalez and Kai then held up the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship belts and they will challenge Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne for the gold at NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday, April 2. 

Gonzalez and Kai began teaming together in NXT back in January 2020 and they remained allies until Dakota turned on her friend in July 2021. Kai then unsuccessfully challenged Gonzalez for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT TakeOver 36 but Kai would later cost Gonzalez the title at Halloween Havoc. 

Gonzalez would eventually win the feud, defeating Kai in a Street Fight in December.
