Report: Batista Not Expected To Be Part Of 2023 WWE Hall Of Fame Class

Batista reportedly not expected to join the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023

Despite being announced for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020, Batista is still yet to receive his induction into the prestigious HOF, asking for his induction to be delayed until fans were back in attendance following the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Heading into 2023, the smart money was on Batista taking his rightful place in the HOF, with ‘The Animal’ himself seemingly willing it. However, a report from PWInsider Elite states that Batista isn’t likely to be inducted this year after all, with Batista’s Hollywood schedule reportedly too busy to accommodate a HOF induction.

Batista is expected to be in South Africa completing the filming of the upcoming My Spy 2 during WrestleMania weekend, whilst both Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Dune Part II have entered post-production ahead of planned 2023 releases, with Batista portraying major roles in both films.

So far, Rey Mysterio and The Great Muta have been confirmed for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class, with reports stating that a stripped-down smaller class will be inducted WrestleMania weekend, following in the footsteps of 2022’s stripped-back HOF class.
