Report: Goldberg Set For Latest WWE Return

Potentially Goldberg's final match

Five months on from his last WWE match, Goldberg is reportedly set to return to the company.

According to Fightful Select, Goldberg will return to WWE imminently for a match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, February 19.

WWE's most recent plans had Goldberg slated for a Universal Title match against Roman Reigns, but with all the changes to WWE creative since the beginning of the year, there is no word on if that is still the current plan.

Reigns and Goldberg were originally scheduled to go one-on-one for the Universal Title at WrestleMania 36 two years ago. The match was scrapped, though, after Reigns went home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Goldberg dropped the title to Braun Strowman at The Showcase Of The Immortals instead.

Both Reigns and Goldberg have teased a match since, most recently in the summer of 2021.

The Elimination Chamber match is also believed to be the last one on Goldberg's current WWE contract. If Da' Man will sign a new deal, though, remains to be seen.
