Report: Ricochet Is Under Contract In WWE Until Summer 2024

He isn't going anywhere

Questions around Ricochet's WWE status arose in the past few days after several reports claimed The One And Only's contract was due to expire this month and he has yet to sign a new deal. The claims were sourced back to Bryan Alvarez on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Live despite Ricochet's contract situation not being mentioned on the show and the WWE Superstar himself has since shot down the reports.

Dave Meltzer has now reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Ricochet is under contract with WWE until the summer of 2024. He reportedly signed a five-year deal after he was called up to the main roster in 2019.

Since debuting on the main roster, The One And Only has experienced mixed success on Raw and SmackDown. He initially got off to a hot start and captured the United States Championship from Samoa Joe. He dropped the title to AJ Styles only 21 days later, though, and he has largely spent the past 18 months in Raw's mid-card.
