Report: Talent Granted Release By IMPACT Wrestling

Talent gone from IMPACT Wrestling

An IMPACT Wrestling talent has been granted their release by the promotion.

According to Fightful Select, IMPACT Wrestling released Lady Frost in October, months after she initially asked to be let go by the promotion. IMPACT originally did not grant Frost her release but she was let go before the most recent set of TV tapings after several pushed for her to be released 'as it didn't seem productive to keep her under contract.'

Frost asked the President and CEO of Anthem Leonard Asper for her release and asked him regularly to be let go before her request was granted. Relations between IMPACT and Frost soured back in April after the promotion booked her for TV tapings even though she had informed them she would need time off for medical reasons. Frost then claimed IMPACT told her she wouldn't be used in the immediate future.

The popular talent made her IMPACT debut in July of 2021 and signed with the promotion a few months later. She competed for the ROH Women's World Title, AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, IMPACT Digital Media Title, and IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Championships during her time on TV. She hadn't been booked since April 1 by IMPACT.

Since her release, Frost has performed for CMLL and they plan to continue working together going forward.
