Report: Triple H Wants To Make Creative Splash At WWE SummerSlam

Is Triple H looking to make a 'creative splash' at SummerSlam?

This weekend's SummerSlam will be the first premium live event that Paul 'Triple H' Levesque will oversee in his new role as WWE's head of creative.

The WrestleVotes Twitter account (which has leaked inside information in the past) has claimed that The Game would like to use the occasion to make a 'creative splash', citing a 'source' within the company.

However, they also noted that while Levesque may want to do this, he would only do so if it 'made sense'.

"With SummerSlam being his real first show in total control, source says Triple H would like to make a creative splash at the event, HOWEVER - only if it's [sic] makes sense. Won't just do something to do it. How about that change of pace, already", they tweeted.

Levesque was also in charge of the creative direction for this past Monday's episode of Raw, though reports suggest that much of it was already written prior to Vince McMahon's departure.

As well as being in charge of creative, Levesque was also named new Executive Vice President of Talent Relations shortly before McMahon announced his retirement.

SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, July 30, headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
