Report: Unanimous Concern Backstage In WWE For Jimmy Uso

Uso was arrested on Monday evening on suspicion of DUI

There is reportedly unanimous concern among WWE talent, backstage staff and high-level management for the personal welfare and wellbeing of Jimmy Uso.

Uso was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanour DUI on Monday night in Florida, the third time that the 35-year-old has been arrested on such an offence in his life.

There had been reports in the aftermath of the news of Uso's arrest breaking that upper management in WWE were extremely disappointed in the situation, and Fightful Select have provided an update on the backstage reaction.

The report indicates that there is a lot of concern for Uso on a personal level across fellow talent, staff and high-level individuals, with an overall tone of disappointment and frustration in his actions along with a fear for his safety.

WWE are yet to comment on Uso's arrest, having stated in the past that their wrestlers are responsible for their own actions. The report goes on to say that multiple WWE superstars have expressed their happiness that such a statement has not been made on this occasion, given that Uso has been involved in such situations on multiple occasions.

Jimmy Uso is a well-liked individual backstage in WWE but many superstars, per the report, believe the promotion needs to get involved to make sure everything is handled appropriately before someone gets hurt.

One person compared the infractions and context to Rob Van Dam's in 2006, with another top WWE name saying the storyline Uso is currently involved in is 'the story we've all been waiting for', expressing their disappointment that the former Tag Team Champion would put his involvement in such a high profile angle at risk.
