Report: Update On Possible FTR Vs. The Briscoes Match

Despite months of promos and a pull-apart brawl at Final Battle back in December of 2021, The Briscoes and FTR have yet to face off inside the squared circle. 

The match may not be happening anytime soon either, and Fightful Select reported there were "no imminent plans" as of a month ago for FTR to face The Briscoes in All Elite Wrestling, ROH or in another promotion. 

This was before Tony Khan had purchased Ring Of Honor, however, and the match is now "not completely off the table for Supercard Of Honor."

The Briscoes are scheduled to defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship at Supercard Of Honor against mystery opponents. If Jay and Mark will actually be in action at the show remains to be seen, though, with the match having been booked before Tony Khan became the promotion's booker.  

Both The Briscoes and FTR are open to facing each other and multiple indy promoters have tried to book the match but it has yet to take place. 

Some also speculated The Briscoes would end up in AEW after Ring Of Honor went on hiatus but Jay Briscoe's past homophobic tweets appear to have cost the tag team the opportunity to perform on TNT or TBS.
