Report: Update On Possible WWE SummerSlam 2021 Locations

Where will the show end up?

WWE has big plans for SummerSlam this year and the company is reportedly hoping to use The Biggest Party Of The Summer as the jumping-off point for a return to touring.

The show is tentatively scheduled to take place on August 22 and while no location has been finalised yet, Madison Square Garden is said to be under consideration.

In an update on the situation, Fightful Select reiterated a final SummerSlam location has yet to be decided that talent and staff know about. Several locations are currently under consideration and Las Vegas, Nevada has reportedly been "gaining a lot of steam" behind the scenes. Phoenix, Arizona has also been touted as a possible city for the event and Texas has been thrown around, but no city in the lone star state has been named.

Fightful Select also noted they had heard an alternative date of August 1 has been considered for the pay-per-view, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Should the company decide to bring the date forward, it would only be the second time SummerSlam has taken place in the first week of August and the first time since 1997.
