Report: WWE Planning To Turn Top SmackDown Star Heel
A big heel turn is in the works for later this year
A top star on the SmackDown brand could turn heel later this year, according to a new report.
The insider account Better Wrestling Experience noted that fans shouldn't get upset if a 'certain someone' drops their title at the upcoming Night of Champions event, as that person will be moving onto a 'bigger path' in their career.
When a fan asked if Bianca Belair could be dropping her Raw Women's Championship belt, BWE responded that Belair and the Street Profits have a heel turn 'in the works' (but not yet).
BWE added that they can see it happening at SummerSlam.
Belair is currently embroiled in a feud with Asuka, who turned heel and spat green mist at the EST of WWE on last Friday's episode of SmackDown. Though a title match between the two is not yet official, it is expected to be added to the Night of Champions card.
Bianca has been champion since defeating Becky Lynch for the title at WrestleMania 38, over 400 days ago.
