Ring Of Honor World Title Match Announced For IMPACT Hard To Kill 2022

Jonathan Gresham defends against Chris Sabin

For the first time ever, the Ring of Honor World Championship is set to be defended in IMPACT Wrestling.

It has been announced that ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will be putting his Title on the line when he faces Chris Sabin at IMPACT Hard To Kill next month.

Gresham became ROH World Champion after defeating Jay Lethal at ROH End Of An Era last month. Gresham had been set to challenge Bandido for the Titlte but, with Bandido being pulled from the card due to a positive COVID-19 test, the World Title was instead declared vacant.

Since ROH has gone on hiatus, Gresham has been defending the promotion's top Title across the United States. His first successful defence took place on Friday 17 December as he defeated AJ Gray in a Pure Rules Match at GCW's Blood On The Hills.

He is also booked to defend the gold against Blake Christian at The Wrld On GCW on Sunday 23 January.

IMPACT Hard To Kill will be presented on Saturday 8 January; a stacked pay-per-view that is set to be main-evented by Moose defending the IMPACT World Title against Matt Cardona and W. Morrissey.
