Sean Waltman: I'd Do The Royal Rumble If WWE Called Me

The former X-Pac hasn’t wrestled for WWE since 2002

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman has revealed he’d like to work a Royal Rumble again if WWE called him.

The former WWE European Champion underwent knee surgery in January, and has said on the Pro Wrestling 4 Life podcast that he’s feeling good:

"I'm not going out there and saying, 'yeah, I'm gonna do this.' Let's see. Let's see what I got. It feels pretty good. My last doctor visit, probably a month or so ago, they said everything was coming along nicely. I thought I was a little behind because I took a little time off from going to therapy. We'll see. I go to physical therapy again next week. Just in case, I would like to be ready by Royal Rumble time. That's not something that is my main goal to go do Royal Rumble, but if they call me, I would do the Royal Rumble. I love WWE, regardless of what's going on, I love it. I would like for them to be the ones that host my return matches. If not, there are plenty of other people that will. I've already had a lot of people reach out.”

Waltman last wrestled in 2019 at the WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial SuperShow, and despite a handful of run-ins and other appearances for WWE throughout the years, hasn’t wrestled a WWE match since 2002.
