[SPOILER] ROH Legend Appears At AEW Rampage Grand Slam

An indie legend joined in the main event

AEW’s huge Grand Slam event at New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium was a monumental occasion, with Dynamite featuring the long awaited Kenny Omega vs. Bryan Danielson match, whilst Rampage featured a Light’s Out main event between Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston against Suzuki-gun in front of a rabid 20,000 plus crowd.

During the Light’s Out match, former Ring of Honor World Champion Homicide made his first appearance in an AEW ring, helping Mox and Kingston against the team of Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer.

Afterwards, The Notorious 187 celebrated with Mox and Kingston, as The Mad King put over Homicide as his mentor, before giving praise to his mother, and to the New York fans, before declaring New York as AEW’s town to send everyone home happy.

A former X Division Champion in TNA, Homicide is currently signed to ROH, but is due to face Minoru Suzuki at a GCW event in New York on Friday September 24. He and Kingston teamed together across the Indies and in IMPACT Wrestling.
