Thunder Rosa Returns To AEW On Dynamite

It's been a night of returns

On the heels of Miro making his return on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite in Detroit, Thunder Rosa also made her return on the same broadcast.

After Miro was seen walking into Tony Khan's office without saying a word, Thunder Rosa entered Khan's office in a later segment, after briefly speaking to interviewer Renee Paquette.

Thunder Rosa has been absent from AEW television since last August, when she had to pull out of an AEW Women's title defense at last year's All Out due to reported back injuries. She has not wrestled since taking part in a trios match at the August 10, 2022 Dark: Elevation tapings.

Rosa held the AEW World Women's title from March 16 to September 4 of last year. In Rosa's absence, both Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter became interim AEW Women's champion. Both Storm's and Hayter's reigns were upgraded to lineal status in November, after Rosa was officially stripped of the title, due to the continued duration of her absence.

During her AEW tenure (which began in 2020), Rosa also made defenses of the NWA Women's championship.
