Title Changes At WWE NXT In Your House

New champions crowned at WWE NXT In Your House

WWE NXT held their latest premium live event, In Your House, on Saturday, June 4 and two titles changed hands at the show from the WWE Performance Center.

In the first title change of the night, Carmelo Hayes defeated Cameron Grimes to regain the NXT North American Championship with the help of Trick Williams. Down the stretch, Grimes was stopped from entering the ring by Trick and The Technical Savage took out Hayes' muscle with a Cave-In. This only provided the opening for Hayes, though, and he capitalised by sending Grimes into the turnbuckle before he followed up with a Flying Leg Drop for the victory.

Saturday's loss ends Grimes' reign after 63 days. He previously won the gold at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 2 in a Five-Way Ladder Match.

Hayes previously reigned as NXT North American Champion for 172 days from October 2021 until Grimes won the title in the aforementioned Stand & Deliver match.

Other champions then managed to retain as In Your House continued until The Creed Brothers overcame Pretty Deadly to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships. Julius Creed initially had the option to use a title belt but he instead connected with a Shooting Star Press to Kit Wilson before he followed up with a Sliding Clothesline for the win.

In Your House proved to be third time lucky for The Creed Brothers as the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winners had twice failed to win the gold in recent months. Their win also means they are still members of Diamond Mine following Roderick Strong's ultimatum that they had to capture the gold to stay in the faction.

Pretty Deadly had been NXT Tag Team Champions for 53 days after winning the vacant titles on the April 12 episode of NXT. The belts had previously been held by MSK but were vacated following Nash Carter's WWE release.
