Titus O'Neill Didn't Expect 'That Level' Of Hulk Hogan Boos At WWE WrestleMania 37

"I expected some boos, but I didn't expect it to be at that level."

Titus O'Neil has admitted he expected WrestleMania 37 co-host Hulk Hogan to be booed a bit by the WWE Universe, but did not expect him to receive the level he did.

O'Neil and Hogan were the two co-host for the two-night WrestleMania in Tampa, Florida in April. The duo both have ties to the area, with O'Neil being widely respected for his work in the Tampa community, while Hogan has made his home in Tampa too.

However, WWE Hall Of Famer Hogan has seen his stock fall since racist comments he made in 2015 came to light, and Hogan was booed by the live crowd at WrestleMania 37 when he and O'Neil were on the stage.

O'Neal couldn't hide his reaction to the boos, admitting he didn't expect the level Hogan received.

He told Busted Open Radio: "It really caught me by surprise. I didn't expect...I expected some boos, but I didn't expect it to be at that level.

"To Hulk's credit, he took it in stride and kept going. It was definitely different."
