Tony Khan Expects "Big Increases" In AEW's Next Media Rights Deals

Tony Khan on upcoming media rights negotiations

All Elite Wrestling CEO Tony Khan is expecting the promotion to get a lot richer in the coming years.

Speaking with Uproxx, Khan stated that he expects AEW to receive "big increases" in the promotion's next media rights deals.

"I expect big increases in the rights for the AEW programs and we're on a good pace to make a very lucrative deal for the AEW media rights going forward," Khan stated.

All Elite Wrestling's current TV deal with Warner Bros. Discovery reportedly earns the promotion approximately $45 million per year. Their flagship show, Dynamite, airs on TBS on Wednesday nights while Rampage airs on TNT on Friday nights.

When AEW will begin talks over their next media rights deals is unknown. The current TV deal is set to expire in 2023 but it is believed that Warner Bros. Discovery have an option year for Dynamite and likely Rampage that would lead to an increase in money for AEW. Tony Khan is expected to remain loyal to Warner Bros. Discovery before discussing media rights deals with other parties.
