Two 'Major' Behind-The-Scenes Departures Within WWE

Two big departures within WWE

Two 'major' departures have taken place within WWE, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider

Jason Robinson, WWE's longtime Lead Production Designer, has either already left the company or he is finishing up after over 23 years with WWE. Robinson was involved in creating almost every modern TV and event set for WWE and his exit led to shock within the company as he was seen "as important as one can imagine when it came to designing the look and feel of WWE's broadcast product." Why Robinson is leaving WWE is unknown but it was noted that he was considered a Kevin Dunn guy. Dunn left WWE at the end of 2023, being replaced by Lee Fitting.

Michelle Carlucci was fired by WWE on Friday, August 30 after 36 years with the organisation. Carlucci served as the Director of Production Travel and many long-time former employees were stunned she was let go by WWE.

There have been several backstage departures in WWE since the completion of the merger with UFC under TKO Group Holdings in September 2023. The biggest departure remains Vince McMahon, who resigned as TKO Executive Chairman, following the filing of a sex trafficking lawsuit by Janel Grant.
