Update On Injury Suffered At TNA Emergence

An update on a scary injury suffered during TNA's Emergence event

There was a worrying moment during last night’s TNA Emergence 2024 event, as Alisha Edwards was seemingly knocked unconscious during a trios match where she teamed with Ash By Elegance and tag team partner Masha Slamovich to take on TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, Jody Threat & Dani Luna.

This came when Grace sent Threat & Luna to the outside and onto the rest of the competitors, and in the chaos Edwards remained unmoving on the floor. The doctors checked on Edwards as the match continued well away from her on the other side. The camera picked up Edwards looking completely out of it, though she was eventually helped to the back by TNA officials.

PWInsider first reported that Edwards had likely suffered a concussion and was being treated by officials backstage following the match. It was later announced by TNA that Edwards had been placed under concussion protocols. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted on X that he was told that Edwards was “handling things okay” backstage.

We wish the best to one half of the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions.
