WWE Announces Return To Saudi Arabia

A Saturday show

WWE will return to Saudi Arabia next month, the company announced today in cooperation with Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority.

WWE's return to the Middle East has been set for Saturday, February 19 for the Elimination Chamber 'premium live event.' The show will take place at the Jeddah Superdome and more details are set to be announced in the coming weeks.

Reports first noted in early January that WWE planned to return to Saudi Arabia on February 19.

Elimination Chamber will be the seventh event WWE has held in the Middle Eastern kingdom since the promotion struck a partnership with the General Entertainment Authority in 2018, with the first show being the Greatest Royal Rumble from April of that year.

WWE shows in the region were paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic but the company returned in October 2021 for Crown Jewel, an event that featured Edge vs. Seth Rollins inside Hell In A Cell and was headlined by a Universal Title match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

WWE will continue to hold two 'large-scale' events in Saudi Arabia until at least 2027.
