AEW Hires Former WWE Director To Behind The Scenes Role

Rafael Morffi, who worked for a number of years as Senior Director of WWE Live Event Marketing, has been hired by All Elite Wrestling to oversee AEW's own live events.
Morffi tweeted earlier Monday, "Today I commence my first day as a full-time@AEWrestling employee. Honored to be part of this historic journey. An amazing team has been assembled, excited to collaborate with everyone at AEW."
Morffi was in attendance at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas several weeks ago.
In addition to his many years of experience with WWE, Morffi, through his company Signature Moves Productions, has worked with Impact Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, House of Hardcore, and Legends of Wrestling (a Brian Knobbs-backed entity that has run sporadically since 2013).
Morffi has also worked outside of professional wrestling, working with both the New York Mets of Major League Baseball, and the New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League. His Twitter bio notes that he has 27 years of experience in the realm of sports and entertainment as an executive.
