Big E Reveals He Has Knee Injury
SmackDown Live star appeared to suffer the knock on this week's show...
Big E has become the latest WWE Superstar to reveal they are dealing with an injury.
The five-time tag team champion took to Twitter not too long ago to tweet the following:
"Making mincemeat of my meniscus
Crossbody cooked the cartilage
Bye for a bit"
The incident in question appeared to happen during this week's SmackDown Live main event where E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston were taking on the team of The Bar and Drew McIntyre. Cesaro went for a Crossbody off the top rope, with E seemingly supposed to catch the Swiss Cyborg.
However, E went down on impact, before getting back to his feet and completing the seemingly intended spot.
This is obviously a crushing blow after Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship win on Sunday at WrestleMania 35 in that match against Daniel Bryan. With the Superstar Shakeup happening next week, the immediate future was anything but certain for New Day, but it certainly looked like they were going to be sticking together to fight the good fight for Kofi's title.
