Tony Khan Reveals Whether AEW Will Book Intergender Wrestling Matches

Fyter Fest took place last Saturday...

AEW held their second official event last weekend, with Fyter Fest main evented by an extreme, unsanctioned, lights out match between Jon Moxley and Joey Janela.

All Elite headlining their show with that match was interesting as Fyter Fest took place just two short weeks before the next WWE pay-per-view, Extreme Rules. Surely, we'll see nothing as extreme as Moxley/Janela at Extreme Rules on July 14...

Extreme Rules will see some mixed tag action take place when Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans challenge Universal Champion Seth Rollins and Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch in an Extreme Rules Winners Take All affair.

While that match (presumably, since it's the way WWE usually does things) will see the men only allowed to wrestle the men and the women only allowed to wrestle the women, the intergender wrestling debate has surfaced once again.

However, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it is claimed All Elite Wrestling will not be hosting intergender wrestling matches.

It's a short one, but for the avoidance of any doubt, here's what Dave Meltzer penned in this week's WON: "Tony Khan said he’s not looking at doing intergender wrestling in AEW."
