Aalyah Mysterio Officially Starts With WWE

As has been heavily hinted on social media, including with a post from Lexis King, Aalyah Mysterio - the daughter of Rey Mysterio and brother of Dominik Mysterio - is now a part of WWE.

PWInsider has reported that Aalyah has officially started at the WWE Performance Center and is listed on the WWE NXT internal roster. Aalyah is listed under her real name of Aalyah Gutierrez on the roster, as opposed to as a Mysterio like her father and brother, but this is not uncommon prior to a wrestler making their televised debut.

It appeared that the 24-year-old had signed with WWE after friends of Aalyah's shared photos on Instagram of a celebration with Aalyah next to a "Florida's about to get 619'd" cake that had cut-outs of Aalyah Mysterio in pro wrestling gear.

Aalyah expressed interest in pursuing pro wrestling back in 2021 and Rey Mysterio noted he wanted to bring his daughter to the WWE Performance Center to see if she had the commitment to train every day. Aalyah begins her career in pro wrestling after graduating from the University of California San Diego in 2025 with a degree in human biology. 

Aalyah has appeared on WWE TV before, including in 2020 in a romance angle with Buddy Murphy. Aalyah was also involved in a ringside angle during the Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio match at WrestleMania 39.
