Ace Austin Invited To NJPW Best Of The Super Juniors

Ace Austin could be making his way to NJPW

We are several weeks away from NJPW’s annual Best of the Super Juniors tournament, and it appears as though IMPACT Wrestling’s Ace Austin could be part of the fray.

Austin was on the recent IMPACT Wrestling, revelling in his recent X Division Championship win at Rebellion, when CHAOS’ Rocky Romero approached the three-time champ and said he could have a word with NJPW management about getting Austin a spot in the legendary tournament.

NJPW’s Global Twitter account later Tweeted “Could the Inevitable Ace Austin be a part of Best of the Super Jr. 29?? #njpw #BOSJ” ahead of the tournament starting on May 15.

This year’s BOSJ will be the 29th edition of the tournament, and the first to run on its own since 2019, with stripped down BOSJ tournaments running alongside NJPW World Tag League in 2020 and 2021.

Austin will be hoping to etch his name alongside previous winners of the tournament including Jushin Thunder Liger, Black Tiger II (Eddie Guerrero), Prince Devitt, Will Ospreay, and 2020 ad 2021 winner Hiromu Takahashi, amongst others.
