AEW & Ricky Starks Not In Communication With Each Other

Ricky Starks has been absent from AEW programming since all the way back in March of this year, and since then he has wrestled just one match on the independent scene (back in May). He recently showed up in a surprise appearance at Glory Pro Wrestling, setting up a match for November 24 against Kody Lane. This sparked some questions over his contractual status with AEW, to which he revealed he was still under contract and was happy to do anything asked of him in the company.

More indie dates could be on the horizon, as Bryan Alvarez notes in Figure Four Weekly that Starks is taking indie bookings. It is also noted that his AEW status is currently unchanged, with little to no contact with AEW as of right now, suggesting that the two sides have broken communication. 

Starks recently noted that he was going stir crazy sitting at home, but remains signed with AEW and is not being used. It was revealed recently that the former tag team of Ricky Starks and Big Bill was the brainchild of former AEW World Champion CM Punk.
