All Elite Wrestling's January 27 episode of Collision drew record-low ratings for the series going head-to-head with WWE Royal Rumble.

Wrestlenomics has reported that Saturday night's episode of Collision averaged 300,000 total viewers on TNT in the United States. This was the lowest total viewership for a non-preempted edition of Collision, with the Friday, November 17 episode of Collision that went head-to-head with Friday Night SmackDown averaging 270,000.

In the key 18-49 demographic, AEW Collision only drew a 0.06 rating, which was the lowest in the show's seven-month history including preemptions.

AEW Collision aired from 8 pm to 10 pm ET meaning it went up against the women's Royal Rumble and the Undisputed WWE Universal Title four-way between Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight. The Royal Rumble was the most-watched non-WrestleMania premium live event in WWE history, according to Fightful.

AEW Collision has often struggled when going head-to-head with WWE programming on Saturday nights.

The January 27 show featured Bryan Danielson vs. Yuji Nagata, Eddie Kingston vs. Willie Mack, and Orange Cassidy vs. Komander. The main event saw FTR and Daniel Garcia defeat House of Black in an Escape the Cage Elimination Match. House of Black have since denied a claim that they don't do jobs in All Elite Wrestling.
