AEW Dynamite Match Between Adam Copeland & Minoru Suzuki To Air Commercial-Free

The upcoming January 24 edition of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite is to feature a first time ever match that few saw coming; Adam Copeland vs. Minoru Suzuki.

‘The Rated R Superstar’ and ‘Murder Grandpa’ have certainly got tongues wagging ahead of their first ever meeting, and as revealed on Twitter/X by AEW President Tony Khan, the match will air commercial free:

“Tomorrow on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite, the fight between international legends @suzuki_D_minoru vs @RatedRCope will have no commercial interruption! 2024 will be an amazing year for AEW! We're off to a tremendous start to this year's @AEWonTV, see you TOMORROW on @TBSNetwork!”

The announcement of the match has excited fans online, with some noting it as an example of AEW ‘having the feeling back’ after what many believe was an underwhelming 2023.

Tony Khan himself is said to be feeling positive about the state of the promotion right now, with the resuming of the win/loss rankings also having excited sections of the AEW fanbase. AEW is believed to be focusing once more on presenting its product through more of a sports lens, with some pointing to the promotions use of DQs, ref bumps, and other long-established pro-wrestling tropes having steered the company off-course in 2023.
