All Elite Wrestling are set to make their Australian debut in 2025, but a venue change looks to be coming for Grand Slam on February 15.

AEW had originally announced the event for Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, with the venue having a capacity of between 52,000 to 59,000. However, a report from Fightful Select suggests the promotion are ‘likely' set to change venues, with an announcement coming ‘sooner than later’.

Ticket sales for the show are believed to be less than stellar, with Dave Meltzer flat out saying they were ‘not good’ back in September. After Fightful’s report was published, WrestleTix posted on X saying that the seating map for the show had changed dramatically, with many seats and sections removed and/or un-trackable.

Some have questioned AEW’s decision to run Brisbane, with the Queensland city less of a sure sell than the likes of Sydney or Melbourne. Whilst wrestling is indeed popular in Australia - with many top pros in AEW and WWE coming from the country - running shows there is not always a surefire sell-out, with WWE experiencing some ticket sale worries when running Elimination Chamber in Perth earlier in 2024.
