AEW’s Christopher Daniels Teases His 'Second Coming’

Daniels hasn’t been seen on AEW TV since May 2021

After losing to The Young Bucks on May 12, Christopher Daniels hasn’t wrestled for AEW, with the dissolution of SCU seeing Daniels retreat from the spotlight, whilst Frankie Kazarian has become the ‘Elite Hunter’.

Now, in a vignette posted to Twitter, Daniels has teased a second coming, and it appears that may be in the guise of the Fallen Angel.

During the vignette, clips of Daniels’ bloody beat-down at the hands of The Young Bucks was shown, as well as Daniels working out, and donning Fallen Angel gear, as he said the following:

“When you go to war, you know, in your heart, that there will be trauma, trauma that causes wounds,” said Daniels. “And some wounds heal. But others become scars. Scars that remind you of your mistakes. I had a plan and it failed. I had a partner, and I let him down. I gambled everything and I lost it all.

“And now, I’m all alone. I’ve got no goal. No cause, no team, nothing to fight for, except the right to keep fighting. So I fight. And since I’ve lost it all, I’ve got nothing left to lose. After 28 years, what I thought was the end might actually be a new beginning.”

Daniels earlier announced a return to the ring, with Daniels taking on Daniel Garcia at a DEFY Wrestling event in October.
