With All In heading to Texas in 2025, London will be hosting AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door IV, with the cross promotional show believed to be heading for The O2.

The show was announced in August during All In Wembley II weekend, with it assumed the event would take place at one of London’s arenas. It was theorised that the show could head to Wembley Arena due to its location adjacent to Wembley Stadium, but Dave Meltzer suggests in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that The O2 will most likely be playing host to AEW in August 2025.

It’s reported that AEW are yet to formally announce the location of the show and may not until March 2025, due to specifics of an agreement between The O2 and WWE.

The O2 has been the host of several major wrestling shows in the past, with Money in the Bank 2023 taking place inside the former Millennium Dome, whilst the promotion ran a house show in the building just this week on November 4.

Forbidden Door will be the third AEW PPV to take place on British soil.
