WWE Money In The Bank 2023 Becomes WWE's Highest Grossing Arena Event Ever

WWE are leaving the UK with a big sack of cash following SmackDown and Money in the Bank

WWE made a whole lot of money from their recent tour in the United Kingdom.

Triple H revealed during the post-Money in the Bank press conference that the pay-per-view was the highest-grossing arena show in WWE history. The Chief Content Officer did not reveal how much WWE made from Money in the Bank but tickets for the show cost hundreds of pounds and the company sold many of the tickets as a combo deal with the June 30 episode of SmackDown.

Triple H also noted the go-home episode of SmackDown was the highest-grossing episode from the blue brand in WWE history. The Game stated that more than 37,000 fans attended SmackDown and Money in the Bank across the two nights.

Both SmackDown and Money in the Bank aired from The O2 in London, England. Money in the Bank was headlined by the Bloodline Civil War of The Usos vs. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Roman Reigns was pinned for the first time in four years and 158 matches by Jey Uso, seemingly setting up an Undisputed WWE Universal Title match for SummerSlam.

When WWE will hold their next major show in the United Kingdom is unknown, but John Cena campaigned for WWE to bring WrestleMania to London during Money in the Bank. Triple H addressed the possibility of holding WWE's biggest show in London following Money in the Bank.
