AJ Francis' TNA Contract Still Set To Expire At End Of 2024
AJ Francis still has an expiring deal with TNA
Dec 17, 2024
AJ Francis' contract with TNA Wrestling is still due to expire at the end of the year, Fightful Select has reported.
Francis worked his last contracted dates with TNA at the December 14 taping of TNA IMPACT in Atlanta, Georgia where he and KC Navarro lost to Eric Young and Steve Maclin. The match took place one day after Francis unsuccessfully challenged Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship in the main event of Final Resolution. Francis received "great praise" within TNA over the match.
Both TNA and Francis have enjoyed working together and a contract extension may happen. Francis revealed to Cultaholic earlier this year that he was open to re-signing if a new deal made sense. If Francis is one of the TNA talents who has reportedly been asked to take a pay cut is unknown.
AJ Francis made his TNA debut at January's Hard to Kill pay-per-view following support from Tommy Dreamer. Francis is a former TNA Digital Media Champion, having held the gold from June 6 until he dropped the belt to PCO at Slammiversary on July 20.
While Francis may be on his way out of TNA, the likes of Rhino, Trent Seven, and KUSHIDA have already finished up with the promotion.
