AJ Styles Mysteriously Absent From October 25 WWE Raw

Styles had been advertised for the show

AJ Styles was absent from the October 25 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw despite having previously been advertised for the show.

Styles had been billed as teaming with Omos to once again challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championships against Randy Orton and Riddle, in a rematch of the Title Match at WWE Crown Jewel last week.

However, The Phenomenal One was not seen at all during this week's episode of Raw, with RK-Bro instead defending their Championships against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, who won a number one contenders match earlier in the night.

While Omos was seen on the red brand, Styles' was conspicuous by his absence, with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer explaining that the former WWE Champion was not at Raw but the reason why remains a mystery.

Meltzer said: "I don’t have an answer. Obviously he wasn’t there and the tag team title match got changed. I don’t know if he’s injured. Probably – they didn’t say – probably an injury I suppose. Usually when guys aren’t there it’s an injury.

"But I have not… I have not heard."
