AJ Styles' WWE Deal Expiring Within Months

AJ Styles is the latest WWE star to be approaching the end of their contract, with it believed the former WWE Champion’s deal is set to expire in the next few months.

A report from Fightful Select suggests that Styles’ contract is due up either in late 2024 or early 2025, and as yet it is unknown if WWE and Styles have entered any form of talks over a new deal, nor what Styles’ plans are going forward.

WWE’s approach to contract renewals has been interesting over the past year, with major stars like Sheamus and Randy Orton re-signing as they were approaching the ends of their previous contracts, whilst others have been ‘aggressively’ approached about new assumed big money contracts partway through their current deals.

Outside of Styles, Kevin Owens is arguably the highest profile WWE star whose future is not 100% nailed on at this point in time, with the former WWE Universal Champion also staring down the end of his current deal. If Owens does not re-sign with WWE then it is expected that All Elite Wrestling could make a move for the ‘Prize Fighter’.
