Andrade El Idolo Responds To Rumours He Rejected AEW Return Pitch

Andrade El Idolo addresses the recent reports about him turning down an AEW pitch

After several months out of action with a torn pectoral muscle, Andrade El Idolo is set to make his return to All Elite Wrestling in the near future as one of the headline talents on AEW Collision alongside the likes of CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Miro, Powerhouse Hobbs, Thunder Rosa, and Scorpio Sky. The new Saturday night show is set to debut on June 17.

Miro and Thunder Rosa's involvement with Collision was hinted at back on the May 10 episode of Dynamite as they were shown backstage entering Tony Khan's office. Andrade has yet to resurface on TV but he was present backstage at the May 10 Dynamite. The former WWE NXT Champion was reportedly offered the opportunity to be a part of a similar backstage segment but he turned down the idea for an unknown reason.

Andrade himself has now responded to those reports, though, writing on Twitter: "Oh really!!! I don't want to imagine what you will say behind my back!!! [Laughing emojis] #ILoveTwitter."

Andrade has been a part of AEW since the summer of 2021. He has yet to win a championship in the promotion.
