New Japan Pro-Wrestling are in a rebuilding phase after the exits of several main event talents, but have tied down several rising stars to new deals, including two Bullet Club War Dogs.
After the re-signing of Gabe Kidd last week, it has been revealed that Drilla Moloney has also signed a new deal with New Japan. Moloney revealed the news on his Instagram story, posting a picture of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man 3 symbiote suit being up for auction with the comment: "You won't know how much [money] I re-signed for, but there may be signs."
Dan Moloney has been a full-time member of the New Japan roster since he competed in the 2023 Best of Super Juniors. He joined Bullet Club War Dogs and formed a tag team with Clark Connors and they are the reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions in their second reign with the belts. Connors and Moloney regained the titles on February 4 by defeating Catch 2/2's Francesco Akira and TJP.
Moloney is currently absent from NJPW, having not wrestled for the company since New Beginning in Osaka on February 11. He is set to return to New Japan in the coming days, though, and Bullet Club War Dogs will defend the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles in a Three-Way at Sakura Genesis against KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight and Catch 2/2.
