Another NJPW Deal Expiring In January

Could an NJPW talent leave the promotion?

Bullet Club might be losing a few War Dogs in 2024.

It has already emerged in recent days that Clark Connors' deal with New Japan Pro-Wrestling has expired, while reports have indicated that Alex Coughlin's contract with NJPW expires at the end of January. Now, Fightful Select has reported that Gabe Kidd's deal with New Japan is up at some point this month.

Kidd looks set to stick around for at least a few weeks after his deal expires as he is scheduled to be in the 10-Man Cage Match at New Beginning in Osaka on February 11. The match will see Bullet Club War Dogs' David Finlay, Alex Coughlin, Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney, and Kidd take on United Empire's Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb, HENARE, TJP, and Francesco Akira in Ospreay's final match as a full-time New Japan talent.

There is no word on if Gabe Kidd is in negotiations with New Japan over a new contract.

After wrestling on the UK independent wrestling scene, Gabe Kidd signed with New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2019, making his debut in early 2020. The 26-year-old has received a push in recent years and joined Bullet Club in 2023. This led to him winning an NJPW title for the first time as Kidd and Alex Coughlin captured the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships, holding the titles for 97 days until a loss to El Phantasmo and Hikuleo.
