NJPW Talent Works Wrestle Kingdom 18 Without A Contract

One NJPW champion at the time worked Wrestle Kingdom 18 without a deal

One of New Japan Pro-Wrestling's talents worked their biggest show of the year without a contract.

Fightful Select has reported that Clark Connors wrestled at Wrestle Kingdom 18 without a deal as his NJPW contract has expired. Connors' deal expired while he was still one-half of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions with Drilla Moloney.

The Bullet Club War Dogs dropped the belts to Francesco Akira and TJP of Catch 22 at Wrestle Kingdom. TJP debuted his new Aswang gimmick at the event, emerging inside the Tokyo Dome from a casket which had been sealed since December 21.

If Clark Connors will remain a part of New Japan is unknown. The two sides have been in active negotiations but there is no word on if they have been able to agree to a new deal.

Clark Connors has been a part of New Japan since 2018 when he was a part of the first class from the LA Dojo. He is a featured member of Bullet Club with the likes of David Finlay, Alex Coughlin, Taiji Ishimori, and Gabe Kidd.
