Multi-time WWE World Champion Asuka took to social media over the last few days, imploring fans to stop professing their feelings of love and desire for her. She also stated that she rejected any romantic approaches towards her, and that there was zero possibility for any others to interfere in her private life. These worrying posts on X featured Asuka claiming that she felt in danger. She also noted in another post that she’d contacted the police regarding an unnamed situation.
“I've been feeling in danger recently. I've already consulted the police. At this rate, even if fans approach me at the airport or in the city, I will feel the possibility that something might happen, and it will scare me, making me unable to respond.”
Following on from these social media posts, Asuka has provided somewhat of a positive update on this situation, detailing that WWE and TKO have taken some steps to help protect her.
“WWE and TKO are taking action to protect me. I appreciate it.”
Asuka has been absent from WWE programming since the Backlash 2024 premium live event, needing to undergo surgery for an ongoing knee injury. It was reported over the last week that there were creative discussions regarding a potential comeback.
