Aigle Blanc has been officially renamed to Elio LeFleur, with it being announced that LeFleur will face Jack Cartwheel and Chris Carter in a three-way at the AAA Alianzas taping on November 28. The winner of the match will be a part of the AAA Cruiserweight Title match at Guerra de Titanes on December 20.
Fightful Select has reported that Elio LeFleur was one of several names suggested by Blanc himself and it was ultimately approved by WWE.
The likes of Bea Priestley and Josh Terry have revealed to Cultaholic that the common practice of talents landing upon their WWE name includes them producing a list of options. WWE will then typically decide upon their name from the list provided.
Aigle Blanc officially joined WWE earlier this year after establishing himself as a standout on the European independent wrestling scene. Blanc has already competed on NXT live events in November, teaming with Zozaya in a losing effort to Brooks Jensen and Lexis King. Blanc also defeated Malik Blade on November 21.
Sources in the French wrestling scene noted to Fightful that Blanc has been "doing well" since reporting to the WWE Performance Center.
